About Seven Lakes Junior High PTA
What is the SLJH PTA and what do they do?
The SLJH PTA is a community of volunteers that passionately work together to support the students, faculty, and staff of Seven Lakes Junior High. Through memberships and fundraising, we contribute both financially and through volunteer hours to our campus. Through your generous contributions, we were able to give over $29,000 back to the school towards teachers grants & programs last year! We have also been able to create fun and impactful social activities for the students, and monthly hospitality events for the staff.
While the SLJH PTA works in tandem with Seven Lakes Junior High, we operate separately from the school. Everything we do is 100% volunteer driven and we need lots of great people like you to help us in our mission! Fun Food Friday
What is Fun Food Friday?
Fun Food Friday is a delicious way to raise money for teachers grants and school programs which benefit our staff, students and school. Fundings for teacher grants equip us with better technology, supplies and staff training. Fundings for school programs help support all other PTA held events for students and staff including Boo Bash, All Pro Dads, Hospitality, Sister School program, Fun Food Friday, etc. With your help last year we raised over $29,000!
Students look forward to every Fun Food Friday when they have the opportunity to purchase delicious treats like pizza, chicken sandwiches, gum, candy, cookies, chips, sodas and more! Students that purchase a Fun Food Friday t-shirt even enjoy front of the line access to quickly get in and out of the line and get first dibs on the most popular flavors!
Boo Bash
What is Boo Bash?
Boo Bash is a fun event where students dress up in school approved costumes for an opportunity to win various prizes, play fun games, watch Halloween inspired movies, dance, eat good food and mingle with friends! It's one of the most fun events of the school year!
Hospitality
What does hospitality do?
Our awesome hospitality crew has a fun opportunity to show some appreciation to our amazing teachers who work so hard throughout the school year. With the help of generous parent donations, we are able to thank our teachers and administrators once a month with delicious snacks, treats and goodies.
All Pro Dads
WHAT IS ALL PRO DADS?
All Pro Dads is a relationship building program where all fathers of SLJH students are welcome to come to the school once a month to strengthen the bond with their child. Each month a different trending topic such as social media, device usage, etc. is discussed between you, your child and the group so we can all share thoughts regarding pros, cons and best practices for success.
Sister School
What is a sister school?
A sister school is a partnership between two schools aimed at cultural exchange, resource sharing, or joint collaboration. We are proud to have McDonald Junior High as our sister school.
